About Antimicrobial Fabrics
These fabrics use a chemical compound that either destroys or inhibits the growth of microscopic and submicroscopic organisms. Antimicrobial fabrics are frequently used in activewear for odor control and moisture-wicking away from the body.
Cotton Incorporated has conducted research to demonstrate effectiveness of antimicrobial features and provide product development information.
